It treats HIV infection by blocking the growth of the virus and its ability to infect the other liver cells. It prevents the multiplication of HIV virus and chronic hepatitis B virus in human cells. Thus stops the hepatitis B and HIV virus from producing new viruses.
How do I take Hepbest (Tenofovir Alfenamide)?
The usual dose in adults for HIV infection is about 300 mg, to be taken orally once daily. Hepbest 25mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
