Iritero (Irinotecan) injection is used in the treatment of colorectal cancer. This medicine interferes with the growth and spread of cancerous cells in the body. Pharmacodynamics of Iritero (Irinotecan)

Irinotecan is an antineoplastic enzyme inhibitor used in the treatment of colorectal cancer. It is a semisynthetic derivative of camptothecin. This interacts with topoisomerase I, an enzyme in the cell nucleus that regulates DNA topology and facilitates nuclear processes such as DNA replication and repair.
