Description 

Taceedo (docetaxel) injection is an anti cancer treatment used for the treatment of lung, prostate, breast cancer and head and neck cancer. It is given as an injection by your doctor or nurse. It interferes with the growth of cancer cells, which are eventually destroyed by the body. You should take it exactly as your doctor advised. This medicine may reduce the number of blood cells in your body. Regular blood tests are required to check your blood cells and liver functioning. 

Pharmacodynamics of Taceedo (docetaxel)

Docetaxel is an antineoplastic agent that acts by disrupting the microtubular network in cells that is essential for mitotic and interphase cellular functions. It has been evaluated in cancer patients after administration of 20-115mg, following dose of 70-115mg with infusion of 1 to 2 hours.

Usage of Taceedo (docetaxel) 

This medication is used in certain patients with the medical conditions of - bladder cancer, esophageal cancer, ovarian cancer, small-cell cancer, breast, lung, prostate, head and neck cancer. Taceedo is a member of a family of drugs called taxanes. This drug works by slowing cell growth.
