Description
Taceedo (docetaxel) injection is an anti cancer treatment used for the treatment of lung, prostate, breast cancer and head and neck cancer. It is given as an injection by your doctor or nurse. It interferes with the growth of cancer cells, which are eventually destroyed by the body. You should take it exactly as your doctor advised. This medicine may reduce the number of blood cells in your body. Regular blood tests are required to check your blood cells and liver functioning.
Pharmacodynamics of Taceedo (docetaxel)
Docetaxel is an antineoplastic agent that acts by disrupting the microtubular network in cells that is essential for mitotic and interphase cellular functions. It has been evaluated in cancer patients after administration of 20-115mg, following dose of 70-115mg with infusion of 1 to 2 hours.
It helps to treat breast cancer, it relieves the symptoms of breast cancer such as breast lumps. This injection kills or stops the growth of cancer cells.
Non-small lung cancer affects both smokers as well as non-smokers. Taceedo (docetaxel) injection helps to treat this cancer.
This medication decreases or stops the growth of cancer cells by decreasing the amount of testosterone in men.
It is indicated for the treatment of patients with locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer.
