Mechanism of Action 

 It do its action by interfering with microtubule structures which assist the cancer cells to divide and multiply. This decreases the growth of cancer cells and eventually kills them. 

Side effects- 

 Side effects of Z-Pac include fever, low blood cell counts, feeling weak or tired, bleeding, trouble breathing, hair loss, numbness or tingling, swelling in your face, hands, or feet, sores or white patches in or around your mouth, joint or muscle pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and mild redness or tenderness where the medicine was injected.

Z-Pac has different pharmacodynamic effects in each disorder like breast cancer, ovarian cancer and advanced non-small cell lung carcinoma. 

Pharmacokinetics 

Study of what body does to the medicine.After oral administration of a single dose, the time of peak concentration, Tmax, was between 1 and 4 hr. 

Minimum effect concentration (MEC)
