Description
Apretero which is an antiemetic is a substance P/neurokinin 1 (NK1) receptor antagonist that when combined with other antiemetic agents, assists in preventing acute and delayed nausea and vomiting related to the beginning and repetitive treatment of most nauseant cancer chemotherapy. Aprepitant is a particular exorbitant associative antagonist of human substance P/neurokinin 1 (NK1) receptors. Has little or no uniformity for serotonin (5-HT3), dopamine, and corticosteroid receptors, which target existing therapies for chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CI NV).

How It Works
To prevent nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy, Apreterois usually taken once a day, with or without food as advised by the doctor on the starting days of cancer chemotherapy treatment. You will probably take an Apretero1 hour before your chemotherapy on days 1, 2, and 3 of your treatment.
