Overview 

Halaven (Eribulin mesylate) injection is used for the treatment of metastatic breast cancer (cancer that has spread to other parts of the body). This medicine belongs to a class of medications antineoplastic. It works by interfering with the microtubule structures which helps the cancer cells to divide and multiply.  It is important to take a Halaven injection as prescribed by your doctor. The recommended dose of Epitero injection is decided by a doctor according to your previous medical condition and response to the treatment. This medicine is given as an infusion into your vein. Do not self administer this medicine. 

Pharmacodynamics 

Halaven 1mg/2ml treatment of human breast cancer cells caused changes in morphology and gene expression as well as decreased migration and invasiveness in vitro. It inhibits the growth phase of microtubules without affecting the shortening phase and sequesters tubulin into nonproductive aggregates.  

Usage   

This medicine is used when breast cancer has spread to other parts of the body. Halaven injection helps to stop the growth of cancerous cells and also prevents the multiplication of cancerous cells. Do not take this medicine in the wrong way as it may lead to some severe side effects. If you experience any signs and symptoms while receiving this medicine, inform your doctor immediately. It is advisable not to change or stop the dose without taking suggestions from your doctor. This medicine increases the risk of dizziness. Avoid activities that require more concentration. This injection affects your immune system and may increase the risk of getting infections or bleeding more easily.
