Priorix vaccine is available in a strength of 0.5mL. Its recommended immunization age (as per The Canadian Immunization Guide) is 12 months and above. A second dose is given 1-month post the first dose. Both doses are necessary for better protection against diseases: Measles, Mumps, and Rubella. 

• The Priorix vaccine is administered by a nurse. 

• It is advised to avoid self-administration of this vaccine.

• It should not be intravascularly administered to the individuals.

• Priorix injection does not ensure protection against any infection other than Measles, Mumps, and Rubella.
