Pharmacodynamics

Zoltero Injection is a bisphosphonate and acts primarily on the bone. It is an inhibitor of osteoclast-mediated bone resorption. Zoltero rapidly partitions to the bone and localizes preferentially at sites of high bone turnover. The main molecular target of Zoltero in the osteoclast is the enzyme farnesyl pyrophosphate synthase.

Usage

This medicine is used in the treatment of osteoporosis and it is also used to treat high levels of calcium in people who have cancer. Zoltero injection maintains bone destiny and reduces your risk of breaking a bone. This injection must be given slowly and this can take at least 15 minutes to complete. Avoid smoking and the consumption of alcohol while having treatment with this medicine. Do not skip or miss the dosing schedule. It is advisable not to change or stop the dose without taking suggestions from your doctor. Keep yourself hydrated and maintain good nutrition while receiving Zoltero Injection.
