Description

Acalaside100mg capsule is used in the treatment of mantle cell lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia and small lymphocytic lymphoma. It contains an active ingredient of Acalabrutinib which belongs to the class of Tyrosine kinase inhibitors.

The medicine works by blocking Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK) that help the cancerous B cells to grow and survive, it slows down the growth or stop the growth of cancer cells in the body. Doctors prescribed this medication as a part of targeted therapy for blood cancer to control the disease and improve patient outcomes.

Mechanism of action

Alcohol
When patients use Acalaside 100mg capsule for various types of blood cancer, it is necessary to avoid alcohol, smoking and drug to ensure safety and effectiveness of the treatment.
Driving
Patients who experience dizziness, sleepiness and fatigue during the treatment with Acalaside 100mg capsule should avoid driving and operate machinery or performing any activities that require full alertness until these symptoms are not completely gone.
Pregnancy
Women who are pregnant or planning to be pregnant should avoid using Acalaside 100mg capsule as it can harmful for the developing fetus.
Breast Feeding
Acalaside 100mg capsule is not prescribed to breastfeeding women, as it may into breast milk and harm the baby. Discuss with the healthcare provider for safe alternative and guidance on temporarily stopping breast feeding during treatment.
Kidney
Doctor do not suggest to take Acalaside 100mg capsule with severe kidney problems as impaired kidney function and make the patient more prone to side effects or toxicity.
Liver
