Furmecil 15mg Capsule is a medicine prescribed by the doctor to treat advanced gastric (stomach) cancer, often in combination with other medicine. It sometimes also treats Colorectal and Pancreatic Cancer.
Furmecil 15mg Capsule a combination of three salts Tegafur, Gimeracil and Oteracil that inhibit cancer cell proliferation and growth by interuppting various growth mechanisms.

How To Use

How It Works
Tegafur is converted into 5-fluorouracil (5-FU), which acts by inhibiting thymidylate synthase, thereby obstructing DNA and RNA synthesis in rapidly proliferating cancer cells; gimeracil enhances the levels of 5-FU by preventing its degradation, whereas oteracil mitigates gastrointestinal toxicity.
