• Sunisam 25mg Capsule is an anticancer medicine with active ingredient Sunitinib. It is prescribed to certain types of kidney cancer, gastrointestinal stromal tumor, pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, and medullary thyroid cancer. It works by blocking the action of specific enzyme.
• It effectively controls the progression of cancer, especially in the advance stages of cancer. It may take few weeks to few months to see the results so don't stop taking medicine on your own without informing your doctor.
  

• Renal cell carcinoma (RCC)
• Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST)
• Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNET)
• Medullary thyroid cancer
• Certain kidney cancer

Like other anticancer medicines, Sunisam 25mg Capsule also has some common to severe side effects. These undesired symptoms observed in the body after taking this medicine and usually disappear with time as the body adjusts to the medicine.

Common Side Effects Include:

• Decreased appetite
• Mucositis
• High blood pressure
• Hand-foot syndrome
• Bleeding disorder
• Taste change
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Weakness
• Fatigue
• Diarrhea

• The recommended dose Sunisam 25mg Capsule may vary according to the type & stage of cancer, or age, weight, and other health factors of the patients. This capsule should be swallowed as a whole with water and do not crush, chew, or open it.
• It is usually taken once a day, with or without food, at a fixed time each day. Don't miss a dose or double the dose to compensate for the missed dose.
