We serve for the specialty treatment therapy areas where medicines are of critical care nature i.e. Oncology, HIV/ART, Hepatitis, transplant and high-value chronic treatments where medicines supply time, availability and authentication is of most importance for health outcomes. We do not just fulfil orders rather adhere to your treatment schedule and remind you of the upcoming dose, guide you in terms of sourcing, PAP's, and alternatives.

Which therapy categories are specialized by Magicine Pharma?

We specialize in the specialty therapy areas i.e. Cancer (all major oncology drugs i.e. Targeted, immuno- and chemo therapy) , HIV/ART, viral hepatitis (B and C) , organ transplant (immunosuppressants) , rare and hard to source drugs , high cost chronic therapies, medical nutrition & supportive drugs and critical care drugs. However, we also provide general pharmacy products, i.e. OTCs and Family health drugs.

What if my medicine is not available on the website? can you still arrange for it?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Most of our drugs are not displayed in the public domain because their availability, cost and import policy change. You only need to share the name, quantity and dose of the medicine. Our sourcing network would immediately check for availability, share the quote and estimated time with you. We excel in providing hard to source and low volume drugs, for which other pharmacies might not be able to cater.

What if my medicine runs out of stock during my treatment cycle?

This is our biggest commitment. If a particular drug runs out of stock, Magicine adopts an escalation process in the following order: i) Alternate sourcing network ii) Search for the molecule of the same drug under the same or different brand/manufacturer iii) Source it from abroad and import, if the drug is not approved or marketed in India iv) Find PAP's of the same molecule from the manufacturer (if the patient qualifies) There is no compromise on getting a therapeutic solution to your problem-your care coordinator will call you personally.

Do you provide import of medicines that are not available in India?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We facilitate the import of internationally approved drugs, but which are not approved or marketed in India. This import would be done under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and under personal import norms. This is generally facilitated once a valid prescription from a registered medical practitioner, coupled with few other parameters, have been obtained, which vary according to the drug.

Do you handle temperature sensitive / cold chain drugs?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Some specialized drugs (especially biological and monoclonal antibodies) are highly dependent on being transported and stored at controlled temperature hence need a cold chain management process. Specialized, validated cold chain packaging would be used to transport these drugs and you can request for a record of the same to present to your doctor or hospital.

Can you coordinate directly with my oncologist / treating physician?

Yes, with your prior written consent we can coordinate with your doctor's team for complex cases for specialty treatment, oncology patients, ensuring the entire treatment regimen and protocol of medicine administration, dosage and time remains seamless with the treatment plan. This would avoid discrepancies and need to find alternatives in the last minute, also for critical care drugs when needed we provide a comprehensive report of the drug supply chain, for validation by the physician.
