Description
Cytaright 500mg Injection is a chemotherapy based anticancer drug. It contains Cytarabine as an active ingredient that belongs to the antimetabolite class of drug.
It is used to treat certain types of leukaemias (a type of blood cancer with too many white blood cells), including acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) and chronic myelogenous leukaemia (CML). It also treats and prevents meningeal leukaemia as determined by the doctor.
It can be prescribed alone or with other chemotherapy medications.
