Description
Docet 120mg Injection is a chemotherapy based injection that is used to treat breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), prostate cancer, gastric (stomach) cancer, and head and neck cancer. Docet 120mg Injection contains Docetaxel , a taxane based chemotherapeutic agent that blocks the cell division pathway of cancer cells by stabilizing the microtubules structures. As a result, abnormal cell growth stops.
Dosage And Administration
The exact dosage of Docet 120mg Injection depends on the type of cancer being treated, its stage, patient's weight as well as overall health of the body. The standard dosage for breast cancer as well as other solid tumors is 60-100mg/m2. The prescribed dosage by the doctor is administered intravenously (into veins) by a doctor or experienced nurse. Do not try to Self Administer the injection.
Mechanism Of Action
Docet 120mg Injection contains Docetaxel that mainly disrupt the microtubule structure in cancer cells that further inhibits cell division of cancer cell. As a result, cancer cell growth stops and eventually gets eradicated from the body.
