Epithra 10 mg injection is used to treat breast cancer with a combination of other medicines in patients who had surgery to remove the tumor. Epirubicin Hydrochloride works by stopping or slowing down the growth of cancer cells in the patient's body. Epirubicin Hydrochloride belongs to the class of medicine known as anthracyclines.
Epithra 10 mg injection comes in the form of injection and only given in the vein only. Epirubicin Hydrochloride injection is given once every 21 days or twice a day for days 1 and 8 every cycle of 28 days or as per doctor's prescription. If Epirubicin Hydrochloride leaks into muscles or skin, it may cause serious damage to the leaked place.
