It results in organ failure, a decrease in red blood cells, severe bleeding, and infections. The active ingredient of Oncaspar is Peg L-Asparaginase, which belongs to the drug class of antineoplastics. It is administered as an injection by an experienced nurse or medical professional. Oncaspar Injection works by controlling the abnormal production of white blood cells. The doctor decides the required dosage and duration of the medicine. This depends on the disease being treated and the stage of the disease.
