Rinotec 100mg Injection is an antineoplastic medicine consisting of an active ingredient called Irinotecan. It blocks the specific activity of the topoisomerase I enzyme that is necessary for the division and progression of cancer cells. It causes changes in the DNA synthesis of cancer cells. Due to Irinotecan's effect, it becomes difficult for cancer cells to undergo abnormal cell division and other survival processes. This ultimately leads to cancer cell death.
