Sometimes repeat testing is done after an interval of a few days to confirm the results. Reference Range 0.79 or less - No significant levels of Chikungunya IgM antibody 0.80 – 1.09 - Possible presence of Chikungunya IgM antibody.

Repeat testing is required. 1.10 or greater - Definite indication for the presence of chikungunya IgM antibody.
