Product Description

Usage The guidewire is intended to ease the placement of balloon dilatation catheters during the time of percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) and percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA). See the product label for any additional product-specific indications that may be relevant.

These are very delicate instruments that should be handled and stored with care.

Test the system of free movement of the guidewire within the interventional device for any resistance prior to use. Do not attach the torque device extendable guidewire (towards the modified portion of its proximal end).

Contraindications The guidewire should not be used in the cerebral vasculature.
