Adnast 1mg Tablet, which contains Anastrozole, is an anticancer drug. It belongs to the aromatase inhibitors. Hormone-dependent breast cancer in postmenopausal women can be treated with this medicine. Aromatase inhibitors reduce the level of estrogen hormones in the body by inhibiting the enzyme that converts other hormones into etsrogen.

How To Use

  • Adnast 1mg Tablet should not be taken by anybody with a history of renal, hepatic, cardiovascular, hypoglycemia, or fluid retention.

  • It's recommended to inform your doctor before taking any other drugs because Adnast 1mg Tablet can interact with them.

How It Works

Adnast 1mg Tablet blocks the enzyme that converts other hormones into estrogen, it reduces the level of estrogen hormones by inhibiting aromatase, which is naturally present in the body.

This can reduce or stop the growth of breast cancer cells, which depend on estrogen.

Safety Advice

Alcohol

Excessive alcohol consumption can decrease the immunity of the individual and weaken the liver function. However, moderate levels of alcohol do not interfere with the working of the Adnast 1 mg Tablet, as per the research.

Pregnancy

The Adnast 1 mg tablet should be injected after consulting the doctor; during pregnancy, it is not suggested to take it routinely. Adnast 1 mg Tablet can be injected in case of severe, life-threatening conditions. However, it may harm the unborn.

Breast Feeding

The Adnast 1 mg Tablet is considered unsafe to be taken while breastfeeding, as there is a chance that it may pass to the developing baby through the breast milk of the mother. It is generally considered unsafe, and there is no clear evidence found in the clinical data of how it harms the baby.

Driving

Driving after taking the Adnast 1 mg tablet does not affect or interfere with driving ability or disturb while operating machinery. However, if you get a fever or dizziness after the injection, avoid driving until you feel better.

Kidney

The Adnast 1 mg tablet is considered unsafe for people with kidney problems. It can damage the kidneys.

Liver

The Adnast 1 mg tablet is generally considered unsafe for people with mild to moderate liver disease. Although regular monitoring of the enzyme is required. The dose should be adjusted; take it with caution.
