Description

Ritonavir:- An HIV protease inhibitor that interferes with the reproductive cycle of HIV. It was initially developed as an independent antiviral agent. It has been shown to possess advantageous properties in combination regimens with low-dose ritonavir and other protease inhibitors. Ritonavir is now more commonly used as a booster of other protease inhibitors and is available in both liquid formulations and capsules.

Lopinavir:- An antiretroviral protease inhibitor that inhibits the activity of an enzyme critical for the HIV viral lifecycle. It has a propensity for participating in drug interactions. It is an inhibitor of the HIV-1 protease enzyme.​
