​Capecitabine 500mg tablet is an anti-cancer medicine used in the treatment of colorectal cancer and breast cancer. This medication works by preventing cell division and cancerous cells. Take this medicine orally once a day. Your doctor will decide the dosing schedule according to your medical condition and your response to the treatment.​

Description

Capecitabine is a fluoropyrimidine carbamate derivative that is designed as an orally administered, tumor-activated, and tumor-selective cytotoxic agent. Capecitabine is a non-cytotoxic in vitro.

Capetero reached peak blood levels in 1.5 hours with peak 5-FU levels occurring slightly later, at 2 hours. ​

Side Effects
