Casodex 50mg tablet is an anticancer drug used for the treatment of advanced prostate cancer. This tablet can also be used to treat another disease, as per the doctor's prescription. This drug blocks the male sex hormone testosterone. Further, it slows down the multiplication of cancer cells. Casodex tablet is given with a Luteinizing Hormone-Releasing Hormone (LHRH) analog or after surgical removal of testicles.
