This medicine is given to patients where this disease cannot be treated with other available drugs or in cases where the person cannot take these medications because of their severe side effects. Dasazest 70mg tablet is given for treating people with chronic myeloid leukemia. The active ingredient of this medicine is Dasatinib. It is generally recommended for adults and children above one year of age suffering from Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. Dasazest tablet is also used to treat a newly diagnosed chromosomal disease known as Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in the chronic phase and Ph+ acute lymphoblastic leukemia in patients who do not respond to other therapies. Chronic Myeloid Leukemia is a kind of blood cancer that commands the body to generate white blood cells in excess. This happens due to a change in the Philadelphia chromosome. Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia is a commonly found blood cancer that mostly affects children. In this disease, the lymphocytes of white blood cells proliferate fast. Dasazest 70mg Tablet can be taken with or without food as per doctor's prescription. However, it is advised to consume this anticancer medicine at the same time every day to get the most benefits. The dosage of this medicine is decided by the doctor considering what dose is important and how frequently you need to take it.
