Entekor 0.5mg Tablet is an antiviral medicine that contains 1mg of Entecavir chemical based salt. Entecavir is a nucleoside analogue that, after activation within infected liver cells, selectively inhibits hepatitis B viral DNA polymerase, thereby blocking viral DNA synthesis. It primarily suppresses viral replication and reduces viral load, which in turn helps minimize liver inflammation and slow disease progression.
