Febudim 40mg Tablet is a tablet prescribed by the doctor that is mainly used to reduce high uric acid levels (hyperuricemia) to prevent gout attacks, joint damage, and related inflammation from crystal buildup.

Febudim 40mg Tablet contains Febuxostat that non-competitively inhibit at the enzyme's active site, which lowers uric acid synthesis.​

How It Works

  • Febudim 40mg Tablet contains Febuxostat. The enzyme xanthine oxidase, which breaks down purines by converting hypoxanthine to xanthine and subsequently to uric acid, is specifically blocked by febuxostat.
  • Urate crystals in joints are dissolved and gout flare-ups are avoided because to this non-competitive inhibition at the enzyme's active site, which lowers uric acid synthesis.​
