  • Feburic 20mg Tablet is a tablet prescribed by the doctor that is mainly used to reduce high uric acid levels (hyperuricemia) to prevent gout attacks, joint damage, and related inflammation from crystal buildup.
  • Feburic 20mg Tablet contains Febuxostat that non-competitively inhibit at the enzyme's active site, which lowers uric acid synthesis.​

How To Use

  • The standard recommended starting dosage of Feburic 20mg Tablet is once daily. This medicine is taken orally as whole with or without food but not on an empty stomach, without breaking, biting or chewing.

How It Works

  • Feburic 20mg Tablet contains Febuxostat, a xanthine oxidase inhibitor. The enzyme xanthine oxidase, which breaks down purines by converting hypoxanthine to xanthine and subsequently to uric acid, is specifically blocked by febuxostat.
  • Urate crystals in joints are dissolved and gout flare-ups are avoided because to this non-competitive inhibition at the enzyme's active site, which lowers uric acid synthesis.
