Description
- Febutaz 40mg Tablet is a tablet prescribed by the doctor that is mainly used to reduce high uric acid levels (hyperuricemia) to prevent gout attacks, joint damage, and related inflammation from crystal buildup.
- Febutaz 40mg Tablet contains Febuxostat that non-competitively inhibit at the enzyme's active site, which lowers uric acid synthesis.

How It Works
- Febutaz 40mg Tablet contains Febuxostat, a xanthine oxidase inhibitor. The enzyme xanthine oxidase, which breaks down purines by converting hypoxanthine to xanthine and subsequently to uric acid, is specifically blocked by febuxostat.
- Urate crystals in joints are dissolved and gout flare-ups are avoided because to this non-competitive inhibition at the enzyme's active site, which lowers uric acid synthesis.
