Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)

Geftinat 250 mg tablet contains gefitinib, an anticancer medicine classified as an epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor.

It is prescribed for patients with non‑small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have not received prior cancer treatment, whose tumors carry abnormal EGFR gene mutations, and whose disease has spread to other parts of the body.

By blocking EGFR signaling, Geftinat helps prevent cancer cell growth and proliferation. Gefitinib tablet is available in oral tablet form with a strength of 250 mg.

How To Use

How It Works

It consists of Gefitinib, which is a medication used for anticancer purposes and acts as a tyrosine kinase inhibitor of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). Gefitinib exerts its action by stopping the phosphorylation of the tyrosine kinase that is linked to EGFR.

Through interfering with such abnormal behavior of the protein, Geftinat prevents the development and spreading of the cancerous cells. The medicine exists in the form of an oral tablet with a strength of 250 mg.
