Afatinib 30mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called a tyrosine kinase inhibitor which blocks proteins that promote the growth of cancer cells. It comes in the form of tablets and is to be taken on an empty stomach. Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) results from the uncontrolled growth of cancer cells in the lung. EGFR is a protein found on the surface of cancer cells that controls the development of cancerous cells.
Afatinib 30mg Tablet may cause some serious and unwanted side effects. Which requires immediate medical attention otherwise it can also lead to higher risk. Do not forget to discuss the risks and benefits of this medication with your doctor.

Afatinib 30mg Tablet is used to treat non-small cell lung cancer that is also spread in other areas of the body and has abnormal EGF receptor genes which promote the growth of cancer cells.
Afatinib belongs to a class of medicines called tyrosine kinase inhibitors. This medicine blocks the signals of a particular protein which tells the cancer cells to grow.
Take Afatinib 30mg Tablet orally once a day and it should be taken at least 1 hour before or 3 hours after the meals. Do not stop the dosage before getting permission from your doctor.
Some common side effects of Afatinib 30mg Tablet are diarrhea, muscle pain, loss of appetite, skin rash, vomiting, stomach pain, blurred vision, change of taste, mouth soreness, etc.
Do not drive if you experience any symptoms of dizziness because it may affect your ability to drive.
