Description
Afatinib 30mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called a tyrosine kinase inhibitor which blocks proteins that promote the growth of cancer cells. It comes in the form of tablets and is to be taken on an empty stomach.
Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) results from the uncontrolled growth of cancer cells in the lung. EGFR is a protein found on the surface of cancer cells that controls the development of cancerous cells.
