Description

Ledikast (400 mg + 90 mg) tablet is a combination of two antiviral medicines: Sofosbuvir and Ledipasvir. This medication is used in the treatment of chronic (long lasting) Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) infection in adults. Ledikast tablets help to improve the liver function by lowering the multiplication of virus in the body, and reduces the damage.

Pharmacodynamics

Sofosbuvir inhibits the RNA polymerase that the hepatitis C virus uses to replicate its RNA. Ledipasvir inhibits an important viral phosphoprotein, NS5A, which is involved in viral replication, assembly, and secretion.
