Description

Ledviclear tablet is a combination of two antivirals, namely Sofosbuvir and Ledipasvir. This medication is used in the treatment of chronic (long lasting) Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) infection in adults. Ledviclear (400mg/90mg) tablet works to reduce the multiplication of virus in the body, and eliminates the virus from the body over a period of time.

Pharmacodynamics

Sofosbuvir inhibits the RNA polymerase that the hepatitis C virus uses to replicate its RNA. Ledipasvir inhibits an important viral phosphoprotein, NS5A, which is involved in viral replication, assembly, and secretion.
