Lynparza (Olaparib) medicine is used in the treatment of certain types of cancer (Breast, Fallopian tube, and Ovarian cancer). This medication works by preventing cancer cells from repairing damage to their DNA. This is an anti-cancer medicine that helps to decrease the growth of tumors in both monotherapy and chemotherapy. Lynparza Tablets is an inhibitor of poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) enzymes, including PARP1, PARP2, and PARP3. PARP enzymes are involved in normal cellular homeostasis, such as DNA transcription, cell cycle regulation, and DNA repair. After the oral administration, the effect of this medicine can be observed in 1 to 3 hours.
