Pantium 40 mg Tablet is contains active ingredient Pantoprazole (40mg) which is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in relief of acid related indigestion & heartburn.
It irreversibly block the action of H+/K+-ATPase enzyme that is a proton pump, in the stomach's parietal cells which results in effectively blocking the final step of acid production and significantly lowering stomach acidity.
