Description

Rolimus 5mg tablet is a targeted therapy, immunosuppressant and and anticancer drug. The medicine is used in the treatment of kidney, breast, pancreatic and lung cancer. It also prevents organ rejection while transplanting any organ in the body. Its active ingredient is Everolimus which belongs to the group class of mTOR (mammalian target of rapamycin) inhibitors.

The medicine blocks the mTOR pathway, which controls cell growth, proliferation and blood vessels development thereby slowing the tumor growth. By inhibiting mTOR, it also reduces the activity of immune cells, preventing the body from rejecting targeted organs, helping to improve treatment outcomes and patient survival.
