Telma AZ 40mg/8mg Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). It widens and relaxes the blood vessels, thereby lowering your blood pressure and reducing the workload of your heart. Controlling your blood pressure prevents future complications.

Description

Telma AZ 40mg tablet is a prescription based medication. It is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension). The medication combines with two active ingredient Telmisartan in (40mg) concentration and Azelnidipine in (8mg) concentration.

The medicine work together to help relax blood vessels, making it easier for blood to flow and lowering blood pressure. Always follow doctor's prescription as recommended to administer the dosage correctly and duration of the medication.

How It Works

Telma 40mg tablet is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) (Anti Hypertensive Agent). The medicine contains two active ingredients that help slow blood pressure.

It works by blocking the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood vessels to narrow through which this action allows blood vessels to widen, reducing blood pressure and improving heart function and making it easier for the heart to pump blood. ​

Pregnancy

Driving
Telma AZ 40mg tablet may cause dizziness and drowsiness. Avoid driving as it affected.
Kidney

Liver
