Telma CT 40/12.5mg tablet also causes various side effects, some are acute and some are mild. Always consult a healthcare professional before using any medication. Reach out to the doctor if any of the symptoms persist or worsen:

• Dizziness
• Headache
• Fatigue
• Increased urination
• Muscle cramps or weakness
• Low blood pressure symptoms
• Allergic reactions (e.g., swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, difficulty breathing, rash)
• Severe dizziness
• Light headedness
• Fainting
• High potassium levels (muscle weakness, irregular heartbeat)
• Liver problems
  

Dose must be administered by healthcare professional only. Do not continue to the medication if any of the side effects persist. Taken Telma CT 40/12.5mg tablet with food or without food at the fixed time everyday to enhance the effectiveness of the medication. Do not crush, chew or break the tablet as this may affect the way the medicine works and increase the side effects.

• Telma CT 40/12.5mg tablet contains two salts Telmisartan (40mg) and Chlorthalidone (12.5mg). Telmisartan and widens blood vessels, making it easier for blood to flow and the heart to pump.
• Chlorthalidone increases urine output which reduces fluid volume in the body and lowering blood pressure further. They work together and reduces strain on the heart and can help lower the risk of complications like heart attack and stroke.
