Unuric 40mg Tablet contains Febuxostate as an active ingredient which is a xanthine oxidase inhibitor. This medicine is used to prescribes to treat and prevent gout. A high level of uric acid in the body may result in gout, that can cause pain by forming crystals around the kidneys and joints.

This medication helps in keeping low uric acid levels. It works by blocking the action of enzyme responsible for uric acid formation. It should be taken with food in dose and duration as advice by the doctor. Don't take more than the recommended dose.​
