Chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection

Velasof Tablet is a viral treatment medication that is used for treating chronic hepatitis C virus infections. This tablet is comprised of two constituents that are sofobuvir and velpatasvir of strength 400mg and 100mg respectively. It helps protect the liver, reduces the risk of cirrhosis and liver cancer, and can cure more than 95 percent of patients. The usual length of treatment is 12 weeks. One tablet is taken each day, with or without food. Side effects can include headache, tiredness, nausea, and sleep problems. Patients should avoid alcohol and tell their doctor about any other health problems or medications they are taking, especially if they have kidney or severe liver problems.
