About The Product

  • Metastatic Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer (mCRPC)
  • Metastatic Castration-Sensitive Prostate Cancer (mCSPC)

The Zytiga 250 mg Tablet is an abiraterone acetate medication that treats advanced prostate cancer in males. It reduces testosterone levels and slows or stops the growth of cancer by inhibiting the CYP17 enzyme.

It is prescribed by doctors for both high-risk castration-sensitive prostate cancer that still responds to hormone suppression and castration-resistant prostate cancer that no longer responds to hormone therapy or surgery.

The medicine must be taken on an empty stomach, and it is always combined with a corticosteroid to reduce side effects. Common problems that arise are diarrhea, vomiting, headaches, joint pain, hypertension, water retention, and tiredness.

Since it might impact the functioning of the liver, it needs regular blood tests. It is unsuitable for use by females and kids.
