Zuvicella 0.5ml Vaccine

Zuvicella 0.5ml Vaccine contains Varicella Vaccine (live) attenuated (NA) as an active ingredient. It is indicated for active immunization for prevention of chickenpox in individuals 12 months of age & older.

This injection should be given under the skin or into the muscle of the upper arm in two doses.​​

• Prevention of Chickenpox

Side effects are unwanted symptoms that can occur from any medical treatment. Like other medications, the Zevicella 0.5ml Vaccine can also have adverse effects on the body, most of which resolve without the need for medical attention.
Some common side effects include:

• Injection site reactions (pain, swelling, redness)
• Fever

Seek medical attention in case of any unusual or severe side effects immediately

• Zevicella 0.5ml Vaccine should be given by an experienced nurse or doctor. Please do not self-administer. It is given to children between 12 months to 12 years of age.
• Also the second dose should be given after a minimum gap of 3 months. For adolescents & adults as well, it is given in two doses a minimum of 4 weeks apart.​​
  

• Zevicella 0.5ml Vaccine contains Varicella Vaccine (live) attenuated (NA) as an active ingredient. This vaccine helps to develop immunity by initiating a mild infection also this type of infection does not cause illness.
• Mild infection caused by vaccine stimulate the body's immune system to produce antibodies to protect against any future infections. It can be given from children between 12 months to 12 years of age and to adolescents and adults as well. Vaccination is the best way to prevent chickenpox.​​
