About The Product

HIV

Paxlovid is an antiviral therapy that has two separate medication formulations which are packed together. The first medication is nirmatrelvir, which inhibits a key enzyme that the COVID virus requires in order to make functional virus particles. The second medication is ritonavir, which shuts down nirmatrelvir’s metabolism in the liver, so that it doesn’t move out of your body as quickly, allowing it to work longer. Together, these two medications are highly effective in fighting the COVID infection.

Description

Nirmatrelvir is a great way to inhibit the SARS-CoV-2 main protease (Mpro). Mpro is responsible for processing polyprotein precursors, and by inhibiting it, we can prevent viral replication.

Ritonavir is a fantastic pharmacokinetic enhancer that helps increase nirmatrelvir plasma concentrations. Not to mention, it has no activity against SARS-CoV-2 Mpro.

Together, these two drugs make a great team against the virus!
