Ponaxen 45mg or 15mg tablet is a chemotherapy medication that is used to treat blood cancers like chronic myeloid leukemia. The generic name of this medication is Ponatinib. It is a kinase inhibitor that stops the progression of the disease as it stops the cell proliferation. It is an oral tablet that should not be taken with grapefruit as it can hinder its functioning.
Ponaxen is a kinase inhibitor that inhibits the functioning of Bcr-Abl tyrosine kinase protein. This protein is the one that causes the progression of leukemia.
