Overview 

Tagrisso (Osimertinib) medicine is used in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). This medicine interferes with the growth of cancer cells in the body. Osimertinib belongs to a group of medications called a protein kinase inhibitor. This medicine is used in patients who have EGFR mutations. Do not stop using this medicine without taking permission from your doctor. Your doctor will decide your proper dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose in case you forgot to take medicine according to your dosing schedule. Protect this medicine from heat and light. 

Pharmacodynamics of Tagrisso (Osimertinib)

Osimertinib is an EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor that binds to a certain mutant form of EGFR that predominates in non-small cell lung cancer tumors following treatment with first-line EGFR-TKIs. A single Oral dose of this medicine can be absorbed in 6 hours.
