Xtane 25mg tablet is a hormone therapy medication, and it is used in the treatment of breast cancer in post-menopausal women. The generic name of this medication is Exemestane. It is a steroidal aromatase inhibitor that reduces the level of estrogen, which, as a result, stops cell proliferation of cancer cells. It is a prescription-based medication whose dosage is decided by the doctor.

The doctor will provide emergency medical treatment. You should not break, crush, or chew the medicine; it should be swallowed as a whole.
Xtane 25mg tablet works by reducing the amount of estrogen (a natural female hormone) that is produced in the body. Aromasin is an enzyme that converts androgens to estrogen in post-menopausal women. Cancer cells undergo uncontrollable cell growth under the influence of estrogen. Xtane 25mg tablet is an aromatase inhibitor that is for the treatment of women going through menopause for breast cancer. Xtane inhibits the production of estrogen by binding to the aromatase enzyme. Thereby, Xtane decreases the size of the tumor and stops the cancerous cells from multiplying.
