Imfinzi 120mg Injection is an anticancer drug used in the treatment of biliary tract cancers (cancer of the bile ducts), non-small cell lung cancer that has not spread outside your chest, small cell lung cancer (has spread within your lungs), liver cancer, and endometrial cancer. It blocks a protein known as PD-L1 on cancer cells. As a result, the immune system recognizes and attacks these cells more effectively. Imfinzi 120mg Injection works by blocking a protein called PD-L1, which is a monoclonal antibody. By inhibiting the PD-L1 protein, immune (T-cells) recognize and attack cancer cells because cancer cells use the PD-L1 protein to hide themselves from the immune system. Imfinzi 120mg Injection contains an active ingredient, Durvalumab, which is used to treat non-small lung cancer. This drug is also used in combination with cisplatin or carboplatin to treat small-cell lung cancer and in combination with gemcitabine to treat biliary tract cancer. This injection is not recommended for people under age 18.
