Bicatero 50mg tablet is an anti-cancer drug that works by blocking the effect of the natural male hormones (testosterone) on the growth of prostate cells. This stops the tumor from growing and spreading and also leads to the reduction of its size. Bicatero 50mg tablet is also used in combination therapy with radiotherapy or prostate surgery in the early stages of the treatment. It should be taken at a fixed time every day with or without food.

An anticancer drug, Bicatero 50mg tablet contains Bicalutamide, which works by inhibiting the effects of androgens such as testosterone and reduces or prevents the growth of prostate cancer cells and eventually shrinks the prostate tumour.
It is advised not to take alcohol while taking the Bicatero 50mg tablet because consuming alcohol can cause serious side effects and can damage your liver badly. Consult your doctor if you have concerns or queries.
As soon as you remember, take the missed dose. unless it's time for your next dose. You should never take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Bicatero 50mg tablet can pass through the mother's blood and harm the unborn baby. So, it is advised not to give this drug to pregnant and breastfeeding women.
A balanced diet is advised while taking the Bicatero 50mg tablet. You should drink plenty of water and avoid consuming excessive amounts of sugar or salty food. Intake of alcohol should be avoided.
