Altaxel Nova 100mg injection is a chemotherapy medication that is used in the treatment of breast cancer. It is also used in the treatment of ovarian cancer and lung cancer. Paclitaxel is the generic name of this medication and it is a taxoid antimicrotubule agent. Altaxel 100mg injection is a prescription-based medication that should be injected by a doctor or experienced nurse only.

Altaxel inhibits the functioning of microtubules by hyper-stabilizing their structure. A microtubule/altaxel complex is formed which furthermore affects the other cell functions as microtubules cannot form the transportation highway. Additionally, Altaxel induces apoptosis in the tumor cells.
