Overview
Bevatas is an effective formulation of Bevacizumab prescribed for the treatment of certain types of cancers (colorectal cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, kidney cancer, brain tumor, ovarian and cervical cancer). Bevatas injection belongs to a group of biological response modifiers. This medicine is an anti-VEGF (Vascular endothelial growth factor) drug, which is used in the treatment of certain types of cancers. Bevatas injection has also been known as a promising and useful drug to treat patients suffering from severe and critical conditions of COVID-19.
colorectal cancer
Bevacizumab 100mg Injection works by binding VEGF or circulating vascular endothelial-derived growth factor. It tends to block it from binding to its consequent receptors while effectively blunting downstream signaling. The effects of this compound have been demonstrated to re-establish normal vasculature at the tumor site leading to increased nutrient and oxygen supply. It also improves the delivery of chemotherapeutic agents to the target region.
