Usage
The guidewire is intended to ease the placement of balloon dilatation catheters during the time of percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) and percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA).

Excessive bleeding

Air embolism

Hematoma at the puncture site

Ischemia

Vessel spasm

Infection

Vascular thrombosis

Vessel dissection

Vessel perforation

Warnings and Precautions
Guidewires are designed and intended for one-time use or SINGLE-USE ONLY.

These are very delicate instruments that should be handled and stored with care.

Test the system of free movement of the guidewire within the interventional device for any resistance prior to use.

Do not attach the torque device extendable guidewire (towards the modified portion of its proximal end).

Contraindications
The guidewire should not be used in the cerebral vasculature.
